can you go to lincoln financial field and back to michigan in a day?

i want to take my boyfriend to an eagles game when the season starts but his parents don't approve of us staying the night together in a hotel so i was wondering if we would be able to make it from michigan to lincoln financial field watch the eagles game at 1pm and make it back to michigan after the game. i've looked on mapquest but i was wondering if anyone has actually done it. thanks

1. From Detroit to Philly, is an 8 1/2 hour drive. To be at 1pm game, you'd need to be at the stadium by noon. So you'd have to leave Michigan no later than 3:30 in the morning. If the game ends at 4pm, it will be about 5 until you actually are on the highway, and you wouldn't get home until at least 1:30 the next morning. You'd drive 17 hours for 5 hours in Philadelphia. Really doesn't seem worth the hassle. I would look for a game on the schedule when the Eagles play out in the midwest.
